"Calvin Okoth Otieno alias "Gaucho" was arraigned before Kiambu law courts on charges of creating disturbance contrary to section 95 (1)(b) of the penal code. The suspect pleaded not guilty and was released on Sh20,000 bond or cash bail of Sh5,000," DCI said.

Gaucho was arrested on Monday outside City Hall, but the reason for his arrest remained unknown then.

He was arrested by undercover police.

There were reports that police had been looking for him since May 27.

Teams were mobilized and ordered to look for him.

Gaucho had allegedly switched off his mobile phones and went into hiding.

On Monday, Gaucho had arrived outside City Hall and was engaging his supporters in a chit-chat when three undercover cops arrived and asked him to accompany them.
