One person was shot dead in Nambale Busia County after an angry mob raided Nambale police station on Monday.
The mob raided the police station after a police vehicle allegedly knocked and killed a Form One student.
The police car allegedly killed the student as the cops were chasing a car that is said to be carrying smuggled goods from Uganda.
County Police Commander Maxwell Nyaema declined to comment about the incident until investigations are complete.
The county commander and other top security chiefs in the county were at Nambale Police station where residents raided after the killing of the Form One student.
