Donald Trump will be charged with a crime over an alleged hush money payment to former porn star Stormy Daniels.

It is not yet clear exactly what Trump will be charged with Daniels claims she had an adulterous affair with the former president, and was paid to keep quiet.

The payment itself was legal - but Trump allegedly recorded it as a business expense.

Falsifying business records is illegal in New York.

He is now likely to be arrested in the coming days, and has indicated he will cooperate with authorities.
