List of 9 NPSC candidates shortlisted for secretary job

The National Police Service Commission has shortlisted 9 candidates for the position of chief executive officer/commission secretary.

Through a newspaper advertisement, the commission chairperson, Eliud Kinuthia said the shortlisted candidates will appear for interviews at the Kenya School of Government in Lower Kabete, Nairobi.

The shortlisted candidates include Adhan Berhe, Christine Rotich, Janet Mucheru, Justa Kiura, Kennedy Mulunda, Nakitare Humphrey, Nura Huka, Peter Leley and Silas Mc’Opiyo.

The interviews have been scheduled to take place on March 21, 2023, from 9:00 am to 3:15 pm.

“Candidates have been advised to take note of the time scheduled for the interviews,” Kinuthia said.

They have also been asked to carry original documents.

“Candidates should bring with them originals of the following documents; national Identity Cards, academic certificates including transcripts and professional certificates, any other supporting documents and testimonials,” Eliud said.

“Also clearance certificates from the following institutions; Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, Kenya Revenue Authority, Higher Education Loans Based, Directorate of Criminal investigations and Credit Reference Bureau.”

The advert attracted 92 applicants from different parts of the country.

Last week, the Public Service Commission shortlisted eleven candidates for the National Police Service.
