The 2022 KCSe results have been announce by Education CS Exekiel Machogu.
Here is a breakdown of what the CS announced on Friday January 20, 2023 at KNEC

1. 881,416 candidates sat for the 2022 KCSE; 443,644 were male while 437,772 were female representing 50.33% and 49.69% respectively.
2. 14 counties had more male than female candidates in the 2022 KSCE compared to 17 counties in 2021
3. 1146 candidiates got an A grade that is 0.31 pcercent, compared to 1138 candidates in the 2021 KCSE
4.The number of candidates with D+ and above is 522, 588 (59.14%) compared with 442,252(53.29%) in 2021.
5. The number of candidates with a mean of E declined to 30,822 (3.49%) compared with 46,151 (5.56%) in 2022
6. The no of candidates with the minimum university entry level of C+& above has risen to 173,345 forming 19.03% in 2022 compared to 145,776 in 2021.
