Latest data indicates that by midnight December 5th, borrowers had repaid Sh281 million of the Hustler Fund.

Cooperatives and MSMEs Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui said the amount disbursed had crossed the Sh4 billion mark earlier in the day and now stands at Sh4.6 billion.

The number of Kenyans who have registered with Hustler Fund has also risen to 12 million.

Chelugui said this indicated the growing enthusiasm that welcomed the launch of the financial inclusion initiative last week.

This, he said, is cemented by the fact that more than 281,000 repeat borrowers have been captured by the fund's digital lenders in the same period.
