•Raila on Sunday said they will hold countrywide rallies to seek opinions from the public on the removal of the embattled four IEBC commissioners.

Senior counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has reacted to ODM Raila Odinga's plan to hold rallies to seek opinions from Kenyans on plan to remove four IEBC commissioners.

Ahmednasir engaged his online followers by asking hypothetically if Raila's move was because President William Ruto denied him a handshake.

"So, Hon Raila wants to start riots and mass looting in our streets just because President William Ruto denied him a handshake and a share of executive power?" he tweeted.

Raila on Sunday said they will hold countrywide rallies to seek opinions from the public on the removal of the embattled four IEBC commissioners.

He said the four chose to stand with the truth and that is why Kenya Kwanza is pushing a petition to oust them.

"I want to talk about critical issues about IEBC commissioners, we are going to consult widely with the people of Kenya, we will begin in Nairobi on Wednesday," he said.

"We will have a meeting with the people of Nairobi at Kamukunji grounds to ask if they accept that these commissioners should go home."
