A video of a 22- year -old GSU officer who was killed in a bandit attack in Turkana has surfaced online.

The attack happened on Saturday and eleven people were killed. The victims included eight police officers, a local chief and two civilians who succumbed to the injuries inflicted on them by the assailants.

The bodies of the officers killed in Saturday's bandit attack in Turkana East arrived in Nairobi on Sunday evening.

It is emerging that the officer had only completed his training last year and had been posted there last week.

One Twitter commenter posted a sad eulogy video remembering his late comrade while another commenter said that the young man had schooled at KMTC in Meru county and later went on to join the army.
