He started from nothing, having been a street boy who was later saved by Christ and turned into a gospel singer. Ringtone Apoko became a darling to gospel fans thanks to his creativity. His songs dominated local airwaves back in the day.

But after working so hard to create a niche for himself in the flooded entertainment industry, Ringtone has called it a day in the music industry. Laying his sentiments on social media, Ringtone revealed that he had decided to quit music although he did not give a concrete reason as to why he made the decision. He also thanked his fans for the support.

"It's been 3 years of too much music but now am quitting thanks for the support."
