Camp Mulla had the honor to represent Kenya at the BET awards but their star waned to oblivion. Their music was incredible but now there's a new crew in town.

The Flag 42 camp is on the fast rise. The team is dropping hit after hit, with their lead vocal singer Rosalie Akinyi being both an eye candy and a true talent. Their latest song "Tuko Juu" is a song that has been inspired by the struggles Kenyan artistes go through on their way to the top.

"At some point people put us down as Kenyans and also as artists.. maybe because they dont believe in us enough and at times it's just fellow Kenyans doing that but we just want to show that we believe in ourselves and everyone should have the same spirit because really things could be worse but they aren't," Rosalie said.

Rosalie has been known to have a unique style in her music, as is seen in "Chunyi," and "Mr. Stunting." When asked if she was abandoning her native style, here's what she had to say.

"No. That's far from it. As both a singer and a musical 'student' it always pays off when I try and see how well I can do in other genres because that way I can learn more about my voice and my generally my musical ability. It's a learning experience in both writing and delivery so that will consequently build my soulful style," she said.

The girl has caught the attention of top Kenyan acts, including Rapper Prezzo. The latest Flag 42 song has caught the eyes of top Kenyan Dj's and is being adopted fast by fans.

So what does she have for her fans?

"Evidently I hope to let you all into my other styles of music and also to have a greater variety for the audience that is yet to experience my voice and mostly my messages. Rosa is only getting better," she said.
