Amos and Josh are known for their rather visceral ergo emotion eliciting songs and music videos but perhaps this one hit closer to home than they are comfortable with?

I am referring to a new music video that they put out which was inspired by a personal situation Amos was involved in -a relationship that ended on a not so fantastic note. The video was for a song titled "Heri Tuachane" off their debut album "Contrast".

The video chronicles his journey through the relationship till it got to a point he decided to end it when it became toxic and wouldn't you know it, his ex-girlfriend was feeling some type of way -no really, she was feeling several different shades of suicidal.

Yep. But I can't even trip about that because the video showed the lass cheating on Amos with a sbonza.

Things got thick fast as Amos started receiving calls from the ex-girlfriend the video is based on and she threatened to kill herself.

And it didn't end there. The lass' parents begun to call him asking for a take down because they were scared their daughter was going to kill herself -never mind the fact that she was never identified... Anyway, the duo sent out this message about them pulling down the video:

“The song comes from a very personal experience of Amos love life, and it caused pain and anguish and that is what made us create content around the story, however with the kind of attention that we have received, out of personal respect we choose to remove the video from our YouTube channel to avoid unnecessary issues coming up”
