Shappaman of Camp Mulla and his sister Janice are mourning their dad a Congolese maestro singer Kasongo Wa Kanema.

The former band leader of Super Mazembe passed away on Tuesday evening at his Lang'ata home in Nairobi.

Janice, penned an emotional tribute to her father via Instagram.

Never would I have thought this was the last time I’d see you and I can’t even come and say goodbye. I love you daddy, always and forever,' she wrote accompanied by the photo below.

Shappaman also mourned his dad and his message read,

Love you man! 💔 I won’t let you down, I promise!
