In 2009 the late Charles Bukeko alias Papa Shirandula said 'I Do' to the love of his life Beatrice Bukeko, the woman he loved to his last breath.

The couple had been blessed with three beautiful kids.

As a way of honouring a fellow thespian Churchill alias Daniel Ndambuki shared rare photos of Papa Shirandula on his wedding day.

Speaking on how they met during the latest Churchill show episode, Beatrice said,

'I met him in 2004 when he was just visiting some friends and pastors around the area we used to live.

We started meeting and talking and one time he came through the pastor asking for my consent and the relationship took off from there.

He took me to Busia and I met his family.'

Papa Shirandula passed away recently at the Karen hospital after he succumbed to Covid-19.

Before testing positive he had complained of his body 'feeling cold', later he developed breathing problems.

He was the brains behind 'Papa Shirandula' a show that aired on Citizen TV. He was also an ardent football fan.

He played for Mumias Sugar in his past.
