When we see musicians pop champagne and drive nice cars, we may get the impression that life for them is easy. This has not been the case with Vicmass Luodollar, a new age musician. His genre of choice is urban, contemporary hip hop (the feel good music). The first born in a family of 5, Luodollar was born and raised in Kibera but spent part of his life as a street urchin in Kisumu.

This did not blur his vision of becoming one of the best hip hop acts in Kenya.

Luodollar began as a poet and performer in 2007 before redefining his career path. He credits the legendary hip hop group Kalamashaka for influencing his flow. He was voted Best Hip Hop artiste of the year at the Vybez Awards 2011, this gave him morale to work hard on his song ‘Ndesna Bwoyo’ [Spice Me Up] ft. Labalaa.

Luodollar, whose real name is Ochieng Victor Ondeye recently released a hot video to his hit jam ‘Bank Otuch’, and he went on a tour of local radios to promote the montage. He has been under the mentorship of more experienced public figures who are wiser and richer than him. He truly is an unstoppable train to stardom.

Vicmass has an interesting inspiration behind his name. "Victory Over Mass" is the idea. Despite public opinion, he has discovered his worth and worked hard to be the best he can be in life. He plans to help the less fortunate as a way of giving back to the society.
