Richest Kenyan singer Akothee has been left mesmerized after a Tanzanian suitor hit her DM.

The self-proclaimed president of single mothers shared the suitor's message with her flowers, which read:

"How are you dear Akothee? I aM a Tanzanian upcoming artiste but I want to be your hubby. I want to be in a relationship with you. Please. I love you Akothee from way back and i HAVE NEVer denied you."

The mother of five jokingly accepted her suitor's request and says she's planning to travel to Tanzania to meet her new bae.

"Sijui nitembee hadi Tz kwa miguu au nichukue ndege nikamuone mume wangu wa ndoa 🙏 haki Mungu amenionekania. Siku njema huonekana asubuhi 🙉🙉 hii ni wiki ya Mother's day! Naolewaa Tanzania 😂😂😂Mimi naolewaaaaaa, Tz kujieni shemela wenu, matusi ndio tupunguze bure mtanideport baada ya siku tatu 😂😂😂😂 harusi tunayo hatunaaa? I love you too," she wrote.

In a recent interview, Akothee revealed that she was not in a relationship with her manager as many think.

"Nelly Oaks has not proposed to me, therefore I am not going to get into his plans. Maybe he has no plans for me. However, he is a good guy and if he proposes to me, why not marry him?" she posed.

Asked about dating a younger guy, the Oyoyo songstress said "Nelly is not young."

"Who told you he is young? Furthermore, we are not dating. We are just friends but our fans pushed us to say we are dating. We are not really dating. Maybe I do not know the meaning of dating but for us, we are just pals. Just because people see us walking and working together does not mean we are dating. We are business partners," said Akothee.

Adding that:

"Marriage is a formality and an institution that has to be put down on paper to tell people you are together, married. We are enjoying our time and we are happy. People want to anticipate my marriage so that if we are not together tomorrow, they say I got dumped."
