According to sources close to Jalang'o and Mwakideu, Nation Media Group has offered Radio Maisha breakfast show hosts three times their current pay to join QFM to bolster their claim to the radio crown.

Jalang'o and Mwakideu actually changed their show's hashtag on twitter from #TeamMaishaAsubuhi to #AlexNaJalas, which is currently still the number one trend in Kenya. Did they do this in preparation for their exit? Only time will tell.

A source close to the two said that they've met with the bosses at NMG at least three times and that they are considering the move since the deal is too good to resist.
