'Naskia wamefungua airports...' Kevin Oliech's last words to brothers before he died

Footballer Kevin Oliech's family is yet to come to terms with his death. His siblings have been sharing emotional and tearjerking tributes, remembering the last moments they spent together.

Ken Oliech, the eldest brother of Kevin, has shared videos and photos he took of the former Mathare United player during his last days on earth.

He posted the last photo he took of Kevin in a hospital bed and revealed that he was excited to travel back home after the airports were re-opened.

'"Man leo niko na appetite. naskia wamefungua airport. wacha ning'ang'ane nipate nguvu nikamalizie mtaa". [I've heard airports have been re-opened. let me eat I get energy so that I can go back home],' Ken shared his younger brother's last days.

The father of two also shared a video of his son pushing Kevin's wheelchair and captioned it,

'"Man naskia kutoka nje nipigwe na breeze nikimeditate kiasi" keyrone was there to give uncle Kevin a helping hand.'
