Tanzanian songstress Ray C is depressed. The Mama Nitilie hitmaker took to social media to air her tribulations, saying she was contemplating suicide.

I'm so depressed.

A few months ago, the sassy singer introduced her new Caucasian man to the online community and it's not clear whether her depression is because of her career of relationship.

This is not the first time Ray C is talking about committing suicide.

She plunged into drug abuse in 2012 and was rescued from drug addiction by former president Jokaya Kikwete, who took her to a rehabilitation center. After a stint in rehab, she confessed in an interview that she was suicidal.

She said;

SUICIDAL IDEATION RANG CONSTANTLY IN MY MIND. I THINK THE INSTANCES WHERE I THOUGHT OF KILLING MYSELF ARE MORE THAN TEN. I HAD LOST HOPE IN LIFE. I LOOKED BACK AT MY LIFE AND THE DREAMS THAT I HAD – THEY WERE ON POINT. BUT THERE I WAS. DRIVING MY LIFE INTO A DITCH BUT I COULD NOT RESCUE MYSELF FROM IT. THERE WAS A TIME I FELT MY LIFE WAS MEANINGLESS, WORTHLESS. I HAD NO SELF-ESTEEM AT ALL.
