The Kenyan laugh industry has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The top managers have been accused of 'killing' talent, frustrating comedians, and even sending many into depression leading to their death. In the past eight years, the laugh industry has lost several talents.

Comedian Sleepy David has come out to defend his friend Victor Ber (Teacher Wanjiku's husband Victor Ber)  just as anyone else would support a friend after Zeddy exposed him Victor, as the 'face of depression' at Churchill show.

In an exclusive interview with Mpasho.co.ke, he said,

Ber is a great man. I've worked with him and we've had our own differences... He has helped many among them the late Kasee. They used to hang out together and Ber advised him on so many things.  In my opinion, Ber has been of help to many including me.

Sleepy David also said people relate differently and he wouldn't be in a position to speak to everyone when asked of Zeddy's remarks touching on Ber.

Talking of his Churchill Show boss, he said,

He [Churchill] is very supportive as well. Whenever one of us reaches out to him for help, he always asks the Churchill show fraternity to contribute including himself.

Sleepy David is working on his own kids' show which is set to hit the screens before the end of the year.
