"He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favour from the LORD," says the Bible in Proverbs 18:22 and award-winning gospel singer Kevin Bahati is lucky to have found one.

He is officially off the market. The Mama hit singer finally found the lady of his choice who is none other than; Diana Marua. A weekend ago, they held their traditional wedding at Diana's parents home in Komarock which was attended by family members and close friends.

Well, recently in an interview with SDe, Bahati's fiancée revealed the main reason why they didn't invite their hundreds of followers to celebrate with them this special day.

"First of all, we feel so as we could not invite all our friends as this was largely a family affair. We only had our close associates and a small bridal team that comprised of very close friends"

Diana revealed how she met Bahati, one of the youngest artistes in the local showbiz industry.

"You get to know people through their characters. We connected in such a natural way and I could tell that this was leading to something but I wasn’t sure what it was till he popped the question. In short, I love Bahati to the bone," she said.

Many were against Bahati, a 24-year-old having a relationship with the 29-year-old Diana Marua and during their first stages of dating, their followers criticized the multi-talented singer for dating an older woman but this did not deter him from loving the woman he loves. Diana also turned a deaf ear to critics and when asked about how she feels about dating someone younger than her, she said..

"Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. Back then, some people said things that were cruel but we are over that and it is none of our concern now. I mean, we have been together for almost two years now having gone through the different faces of friendship, dating and now marriage. We always put it out there everything we want people to know. What they make of it is their choice."

The 'power couple' who have been the talk of the town for a while now, seem to be happily married and rumour has been going round that they are expecting their first child together. But is it true?

"Like I have said, there has been a lot of rumours about that and many other things. Besides, babies are a blessing from God…Since no one can hide a pregnancy, let’s wait and see," she said.
