Yesterday, Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko vehemently denied that he had defected to the Cord political wing. The flamboyant Jubilee coalition politician rubbished some photos doing the rounds on social media of him donning an ODM T-shirt as "mere Photoshop images".
Sonko promised his supporters a pure surprise regarding his plans for Jubilee Party, the political outfit he intends to run with in his bid to capture the Nairobi governor seat in next year's general election.
True to his word, Sonko this afternoon unleashed his shocking plans that showed his 'seriousness' in first, capturing the JP ticket at the primaries, before kicking off proper his campaign for the gubernatorial race. Sonko sio mchache!
