A Nairobi MP and a governor from Nyanza shocked bar patrons in Nyanza recently. The two were drinking and having a good time when one of the guards tasked with looking after the governor’s drinks went to the washrooms.

Some female bar attenders came to the table to ask the MP and the Governor if they needed anything. The MP thought the waitress spiked his drink when she lifted it to see if it was empty. He went to the toilet and quarrelled the guard. When the MP came back, he pretended to be too drunk and disorderly.

The man overturned the tables to the shock of everybody. Word has it that when the Governor asked him why he became disorderly, he said it was better to be disorderly and break bottles than to consume poisoned drinks.
