We all know Sabina Joy as one of the oldest brothels in the city. Located in the CBD near Ambassadeur bus station, the brothel has been a home for many city prostitutes and is easily accessible for clients or rather perverts who visit the place out of curiosity just to confirm the many good and bad stories they've heard out here.

Well,  Sabina Joy is currently the talk of the town after his owner Mzee Kanyuira was honored with the ‘Key to the City’ for his contribution to the growth of business in Nairobi.

He is the remaining founder member of the multi-billion Rwathia Investment Group that has employed over 100,000 Kenyans across the country.

The President described Mzee Kanyuira and his generation as hardworking and determined people, who left the comfort of their homes to establish ventures that have since grown to huge businesses.

He thanked Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero for the honour, saying the “history of the men and women who built Nairobi must never be forgotten. “Mzee Kanyuira and his generation are the ones who changed Nairobi from being a city of ‘Wazungu’ to a city of Africans,” the President said.

During the ceremony, Uhuru told the young generation to borrow a leaf from the Mr. Kanyuira. Here is the photo that Kenyans can't stop talking about

The pioneer businessman hails from Rwathia village in Kangema Constituency, Murang’a County.
