An accountant with the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) who went missing has been found unconscious in a house in Imara Daima, Nairobi.

She had been missing since last Friday but was yesterday found in a house unconscious.

Detectives from Kilimani had been trying to trace the last movements of Grace Andeyo, 51 who left their Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) branch office, presumably for lunch.

A taxi driver told police he took her to the house on Saturday while she was unconscious.

Speaking to the investigating officers, the taxi driver, Gilbert Mokaya said he was approached by the woman approached at the taxi stage in Imara Daima and asked to be dropped home.

“She was holding a piece of paper bearing her home address and Sh200 note. We gathered the evidence that was in that scene of crime and escorted the taxi driver involved for interrogation,” said the police.

Police are still investigating the incident.
