Citizen TV's Willis Raburu and his wife Mary Prude are going through a tough time. The multi-talented media personality lost his unborn child.

WE WERE ALL WAITING FOR THE BABY BUT GOD CALLED HER HOME. MY ANGEL ADANA IS ON THE OTHER SIDE NOW LOOKING OVER US AND WE WILL DO HER PROUD. ONE DAY AT A TIME. WE WILL BE QUIET AND AWAY FOR A WHILE BUT WE WILL BE BACK,' read part of Raburu's message.

Raburu took to social media to express his grief and he tweeted,

Over the past few days my heart has been shattered and torn into several pieces. The pain I have felt has been immeasurable and one that words fail to aptly capture. It has left me with several questions and literally reset my outlook on life.

Raburu revealed that he was taking a break from his job until further notice so that he and his wife could 'get through the motions'. Friday night's show was hosted by Patrick Igunza.

I am therefore going to be taking a short break from my duties on @citizentvkenya

and @Hot_96Kenya to allow my wife and I to get through the motions. While away my colleagues will be holding fort, I want to thank them in advance for heeding the abrupt call to action. #10over10.

He asked for prayers during this difficult time.

I want to say thank you for those in the know who continue to lift my wife and I in prayer during this pain and ask that you continue to do so up until the time I will be back on your screens and on radio! I love you all,See you soon. Successful people look like you! WABEBEE!.
