'My heart goes out to those who have lost jobs,' Citizen TV's Raburu pens

Citizen TV and Hot 96 FM presenter Willis Raburu's heart is bleeding for the many who've lost jobs and struggling to make ends meet during these difficult times.

Many have been laid off unceremoniously due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has ravaged the world.

In a touching post, Raburru extended his sympathies to those affected by Covid-19 and wrote,

My heart goes out to those who have lost jobs during these trying times, those worried about how they will make ends meet, those in pain and who have suffered any kind of loss to some, 50 may be a number, isolation may be a word, but to all of you going through it, take heart 🙏🏾.

In another post, Raburu wrote,

Let us all come together in making sure that we keep safe and stay safe. Get as much information as you can,wash hands,social distance, sanitize, self-quarantine if you have to but by all means do what you have to do to be safe. We all have a role to play even as we pray. 🙏🏾

According to sources, media houses are planning to lay off staff and Citizen is said to have forced some of its highest-paid presenters to take pay cuts.
