Days are gone when daughters used to respect their parents' privacy. Back in the day, daughters were not allowed anywhere near men especially their fathers, uncles and were assigned aunties to teach them about the African traditions.

But nowadays, things have changed. Daughters spend more time with their fathers than mothers. Some even drink and go out together and it seems that's why there are many cases of rape and incest.

Well, a university employee by the name Mercy Igoki recently left many shocked after she admitted that her daughter snatched her husband.

According to the 48-year-old, she forgave both her husband and daughter after finding out about their sexual escapades.

"I share the circumstances under which my marriage split up hoping it will inspire someone to start her own journey to forgiveness and restoration, as opposed to bitterness, anger and death," she said during an interview with Parent magazine.

Mercy adopted an orphan girl back in 2006 when she was still a high teacher and gave her everything a mother could give to her daughter.

Igoki also revealed that she was forced to resign from her job to recover from an accident that left her with multiple fractures and it's in 2008 when she came to learn of her husband's affair with their daughter.

"I enrolled for an undergraduate degree in education in Meru. I would be away from home sometimes up to three weeks or longer at a time because of my studies," she said before adding...

"It was while travelling back from one of these trips in 2008, just after my daughter had finished high school, that I received a phone call from one of my neighbours. She told me, 'Just know that girl you are living with is not your daughter but your co-wife.' I was shocked.

In anger, I confronted them and to my shock, my husband blamed me for the affair, saying I had brought the girl to him."
