Mwanaume ni effort. What that loosely translates to is "A man is his effort". And indeed, I agree with that phrase in it's entirety.

It would seem Jalang'o agrees with it too albeit with a twist. The comedian who wears many hats one of which being radio talkshow presenter has given it an interesting twist; mwanaume ni nyumba. A man is his house.

Jalas as he is commonly referred to by his friends has decided to make hay while the sun still shines so he is building a house in his ancestral land, in Nyanza Province. And work begun today as he himself broke ground for the project to start. Check out the photo of that below:
