Popular Papa Shirandula TV actor Njoro has for the longest time been mistaken to be an alcoholic because of his onscreen character.

Early this week, a photo of him looking stressed and 'wasted' holding a wooden cross at Papa Shirandula's grave site went viral, with many asking him to seek the services of a counselor.

Njoro came out to dispel the claims and in an interview with Mpasho.co.ke. he said,

PEOPLE ARE CONCENTRATING ON MY DRESS CODE BUT SOME THINGS DON’T REALLY MATTER TO ME. WHY SHOULD I BE DEPRESSED YET I HAVE A FAMILY WHICH LOOKS UP TO ME.

The multitalented comedian has seen it all in life and in a recent interview on Bonga na Jalas, he narrated his humble beggings and even revealed that at some point, he and his wife never had money for rent and played hide and seek with landlords.
