Ali Kiba has earned respect when it comes to his bongo music...This guy can sing!

His talent and the ability to attract fans was one that made him get invited for the MTV's lip sync battled which he was going head to head with Nigeria's female artiste Simi.

It was one battle that saw Ali Kiba stepping out rocking a skirt something that was a shocker to many. He went on to imitate the late Brenda Fassie as he sang to her hit song Vulindela.

Although he won the battle, it was not only his fans that reacted to how he looked but also his baby mama.

It seems she was proud that baby daddy was bringing more money home, but was not sure whether he was a real man.

The mother of his son, Kiba Junior wrote;

"BRENDA LAPA I see you ??? full vitonge ?? fanya mambo yote huo mkanda nautaka? mzee mwezangu ???"

His son Kiba junior went on to support his father;

"Ur The Best?Go dad???Champion??"

His daughter Amiya Kiba distanced herself with the whole 'Daddy wearing a skirt' thing.

Let's just say Kiba is doing what he can to bring bread to the table.
