There is nothing like a warm hug from someone who is all smiles and welcoming.

That is the feeling and experience President Uhuru Kenyatta got today, after his wife, Margaret  waited for him at the finish line.

Uhuru led other leaders in participating in the fifth edition of the Beyond Zero half marathon.

Uhuru and other dignitaries managed a 2.6km race before he was received by the First lady on the finish line.

The commander in chief was hugged by the first lady at the finish line.

Margaret did not, however, take part in the race. The event saw a heavy traffic snarl-up after several roads were closed.

Others who ran the race include Nairobi governor Mike Sonko, his Machakos counterpart Alfred Mutua and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
