Just the other day, I was thinking about how Kenyan musicians come and go. I mean, those hit makers I used to love 5 years ago, many of them are gone. I was feeling nostalgic and kept wishing they could wake up one day, team up and just drop something fresh.

Well, if my wishes are granted, well and good. In the meanwhile, I’ll just stick to the one who’s currently popping. I mean, I always appreciate music talent whenever I discover one.

Lately, I have been jamming to Gilad Milo, undoubtedly one of the fast rising stars in the country. Trust me, his performance can steal your girlfriend’s heart -- I am not kidding. His guitar skills are otherworldly and despite the fact that he's Israeli, yet he can sing fluently in Swahili! From being a former Israel Ambassador to Kenya to being one of the most revered musicians in the country, that's real talent right there. With his prowess in music, has won the hearts of many Kenyans since his debut song "Salama".

What’s exciting is that you can catch him live on stage at the upcoming Samantha’s Bridal Expo, the biggest wedding showcasing event in East Africa.

The event will take place on 29th-31st July 2016, and will see over 150 bridal exhibitors shower the event with their innovative ideas and cutting edge, latest trends in the wedding industry.

The event is not only proud to announce Gilad as the brand ambassador, but also is partnering with the Nairobi County government with the aim of taking its vision to the next level. The Nairobi County government, together with Samantha’s Bridal, Founder & CEO, Catherine Masitsa, plan to flag off the bridal bus tours that will take the brides to be each Saturday to meet various suppliers and assist them make informed decisions on their big day.
