President Uhuru Kenyatta has today hosted the Kenya Sevens team at State House to honor their first ever win at the World Series event. 

Kenya managed to beat Fiji, which is one of the most popular and successful rugby sevens teams in the world to clinch their first World Series title at the Singapore Sevens.

The President feted the Shujaas for making Kenyan proud and encouraged them to win more titles.

Greatly honored to fete our Shujaas the Kenya Sevens team at State House. The team has done Kenya proud and I'm happy to be able to congratulate them in person.Thank you for carrying the day and leading our country to Glory.
