Kenyan musician Otile Brown has finally responded to claims that he stole a laptop from his close friend.

It was alleged that the victim called in at a popular radio station accusing the singer of taking his laptop from his office and failing to return it.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the theft was caught on camera and Otile was said to be on the run after his friend sent people to retrieve the laptop.

When reached for comment, the Alivyonipenda singer neither confirmed nor denied the claims were true. Simply put, granting him a right of reply was a waste of time on our part.

"I don't know about that and that's why you won't get my side of the story. I don't want to get involved with that bullshit. I DON'T even know where that came from,"he said.

Instead, Otile told this writer that we should run the story if we so please adding that he has been trying to reach us to promote his music but we never pick his calls.

He also said we only wanted to talk to him because we heard some bad news about him before hanging up the call.

When granted a right of reply, instead of becoming raucous and agitated, the accused should at least try to make it look like they are innocent. Isn't that what normal people do?

Here's the audio.
