Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West have been in Uganda this past week. They went to the "Pearl of Africa" to participate in different projects that range from humanitarianism to tourism.

The two have been given the royal treatment and even got to meet the president of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni. In the meeting, Kanye gave the long-time head of state a pair of sneakers, most likely his own brand, Yeezys.

The Ugandan president was not to be outdone and he also gave them gifts. And his gift was priceless, it was a name of Ugandan origin. The State House of Uganda explained:

The visiting couple was excited by the Ugandan names given to them by the President.

Kanye West received the name "Kanyesigye"- meaning, Ï trust, while his wife was named " Kemigisha"- meaning the one with blessings from God.

Kanye himself was a gracious guest and noted the great honour he had been given. The page went on:

The American rapper on his part expressed happiness at being in Uganda describing it as his second home. He informed the President that he intends to put up a world-class tourism school in the country, which will support the tourism industry not only in Uganda but the East Africa region in general.
