Museveni himuserefu says this about Ugandan duo who won EAGT competition

Sunday 6 October was the finale of East Africa Got Talent (EAGT) show first season.

Ugandan duo Mutesasira siblings; 14-year-old sister Esther and her brother 11-year-old Ezekiel Mutesasira won a cash prize of $50,000 (Ksh 5 million).

Ezekiel and Esther were the favourites from the word go and their angelic voices always left many mesmerized.

Judges Jeff Koinange, Gaetano Kagwa, Makeda, Vanessa Mdee and host Anne Kansiime always gave them positive reviews.

Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni joined thousands of fans in congratulating Ezekiel and Esther.

He tweeted,

My grandchildren have told me about our talented bazukulu Esther and Ezekiel, who have won an East African Talent competition this evening. I am told they are very good singers. I congratulate them.

The finale was held in Nairobi, Kenya.

The contest drew participants from four countries namely, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and hosts Kenya.

The other finalists were Kenya's Janella Tamara, Spellcast, Rwanda's Inteyoberana cultural troupe and Uganda's Dance Alliance Network, Jehovah Shalom Acapella, and Comedic Dance Group.
