Residents of Naivasha are in shock after the body of a middle-aged man was discovered in a hotel room hours after he was seen partying with some commercial sex workers.

It's feared that the man could have been drugged and died due to an overdose as the suspect escaped with all his personal effects.

A witness who declined to be named said that the man was seen in one of the popular nightclubs with the woman before retreating to the lodging.

“Workers who were cleaning the rooms failed to get a response and called the police who on breaking the door found the body of the man,” said the witness.

A senior police officer confirmed the incident adding that the deceased did not have any identification documents.

In the second case, a construction worker slipped and fell from a two storey building he was working on in Mai Mahiu town dying on the spot.

The middle-aged man was with his colleagues on a daily routine when the disaster occurred paralyzing operations in the area.

A witness James Kiarie said that the middle-aged man was ferrying some construction materials when he slipped and fell.

“The accident happened very fast, and the deceased was hit on the head and died on the spot,” said the shocked worker.

And in the last incident, a man said to be a hawker in the area was found lying in a pool of blood in his house.

It is not clear what led to his death, but witnesses said he had could have been murdered using a blunt object.

“He had been seen earlier in the day washing his clothes and before his body was spotted lying in a pool of blood that was oozing from the back of his head,” said a witness.

The two bodies were collected by police and taken to Naivasha sub-county hospital mortuary as investigations started
