After Mpasho confirmed that Vanessa Mdee slept behind bars after she was faced with drug related charges, her sister, Mimi Mars an upcoming artiste has come out in defence of Vanessa.

When the list was out on celebrities facing the hash charges, Vanessa Mdee was in South Africa shooting the popular drama series Shuga, she would later go for shows but it now seems the long hand of Magufuli's government have gotten hold of her.

Vanessa might be going through alot after rumour had it that her long time boyfriend Jux dumped her during this hard times. Even after spending the night in the cells, it seems Jux never visited!

Mimi Mars, Vanessa's sister has come out defending her sister saying that her family was equally affected by the news;

Apparently, Vanessa Mdee reported to the police without her lawyers and the unexpected happened,she was taken in. She might have thought it was an easy process but i can just imagine the hell this lass went through. I mean, sleeping on the floor, eating Cabbages, crying in all that darkness!
