King Kaka has been summoned to the CID offices on Kiambu road in connection with his new song 'Wajinga Nyinyi' which showcases the ills in the society.

The news was shared by Kenyan activist Boniface Mwangi on his twitter account.

'I have spoken to and he informs me that have summoned him.

His friends, fellow artistes and Kenyans of goodwill are joining him at DCI Headquarters, Kiambu Road, at 12pm. If you're able to join us, see you there.

The summon comes hours after KIrinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru threatened to sue King Kaka for mentioning her in his song.

The lyrics partly say

'Ati *********** ako kwa office na story ya NYS tulishasahau.

Biro moja alibuy 8 thao

Biro tunanunuanga mbao. Either sisi ndio wajinga ama ako na marking scheme ya Accau.Time will tell.'

Well, in a letter dated December 15, the Kirinyaga county boss through her lawyers Kiragu Wathuta & Company Advocates gave King Kaka 48 hours to apologize to her.

THAT YOU OFFER UNEQUIVOCAL UNQUALIFIED AND UNRESERVED RETRACTION AS WELL AS AN APOLOGY TO OUR CLIENT SUBJECT TO REVIEW AND APPROVAL,’ READS PART OF THE LETTER FROM THE LAWYERS.

Waiguru claims the song is defamatory and the rapper is tarnishing her name.

YOU OUGHT TO HAVE KNOWN THAT DESPITE EXTENSIVE INVESTIGATIONS AND SEVERAL PROSECUTIONS IN RELATION TO THE LOSS OF FUNDS AT NYS, OUR CLIENT HAS NEVER BEEN CHARGED IN A COURT OF LAW AS AN ACCUSED PERSON IN RELATION TO NYS OR ANY OTHER SCANDAL.

The letter further read

SHE HAS BEEN PERSISTENTLY AND PUBLICLY DEMANDING FULL INVESTIGATIONS OF THE MATTERS RELATING TO THE NYS AFFAIRS AND THERE HAS BEEN NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER OF HER CULPABILITY [PROVIDED] TO, OR OBTAINED BY THE ETHICS AND ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMISSION ON ANY ALLEGATIONS PERTAINING TO THE NYS AFFAIRS.
