Kifo hakina huruma. Celebrated gospel artiste Hellen Chumo Koligey passed away leaving behind a grieving husband and children.

Hellen succumbed to breast cancer on Thursday, January 7, 2021.

Reknown gospel singer Emmy Kosgei mourned her death in a moving tribute.

"Shocked by the news of the exit of this powerful soldier, a singer, an author and a soul-winner who served this JESUS till the end😭 our heartfelt condolences to her husband, children, family, friends, gospel fraternity and her fans. May God strengthen you in this trying moment 😭🙏 till meet again at JESUS feet."

Nine months before Hellen breathed her last she posted a photo of a cute moment with her husband, Wilson Koligey.
