Cancer is one of the most feared diseases around. It kills thousands around the world every year and let's hope that one day; diagnosis will be easier so that more lives with be saved. Well, barely a year after former NTV Presenter Janet Kanini Ikua was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and thankfully her battle against cancer is being won, yet another media personality has been diagnosed with the same condition.

Celina Njoki of Ghetto Radio is suffering from Deep vein thrombosis (DVT). DVT is the formation of a blood clot (thrombus) within a deep vein, predominantly in the legs. Non-specific signs may include pain, swelling, redness, warmness, and engorged superficial veins. Pulmonary embolism, a potentially life-threatening complication, is caused by the detachment (embolization) of a clot that travels to the lungs (at least according to Wikipedia). The decorated presenter, who is currently admitted in a city hospital, took to social media to call upon her fans to donate blood for her.
