According to Akothee, Maureen's uncle has offered her a parcel of land after her mother and other family members disowned her.

I had communication with Maureen's Family, and she is at her uncle's place, who has accepted to give her a piece of land to build a home for herself. My mother will be going to PAP ONDITI in Nyakach ON OUR BEHALF to tell us what's on the ground 🙏🏾🙏🏾' Akothee posted on social media.

The mother of five has called upon her followers to contribute towards 'save Lady Maureen' kitty.

SUPPORT A WOMAN AND SAVE THE VILLAGE. We are doing this as #teamakothee ACTION IS BETTER THAN PITY PARTY.

She also pointed out the reason why she didn't give her land because they weren't related.

I could give land to her too, but I am not her relative, and no one will be there to take care of her, so she is safe with her relatives. Be blessed as we look forward to supporting a woman.
