Word from across the boarder, Uganda the land of matoke and M7, has that socialite and former Blu3 singer Jackie Chandiru checked-in at Mulago hospital in Kampala earlier on Thursday, to have a minor surgery after a skin infection alleged to have been caused by drug abuse!

As reported by New Vision, the 31-year-old Gold Digger hit maker was then referred to CORSU hospital in Kisubi. It was alleged that Chandiru's skin deteriorated after she failed to take the drugs as prescribed.

In 2014, the Pearl of Africa Music Award winner was one of the featured artistes in the second season of continental TV non-competition show, Coke Studio Africa, held in Nairobi.
