The nation is mourning the passing of Kibra MP Ken Okot h, who succumbed to cancer on July 26 at the Nairobi hospital.

Okoth was diagnosed with colorectal cancer stage 4 in 2017 and has been on treatment for several months in and out of the county.

Colorectal cancer is also known as bowel cancer, colon cancer, or rectal cancer. It's any cancer that affects the colon and the rectum.

On Thursday 4 pm Ken Okoth was admitted at Nairobi hospital but at around 8 pm his health deteriorated and was transferred to the ICU, where he died on Friday 4 pm.

Ken Okoth was married to a beautiful caucasian woman named Monica Ambrossinni, who stood with him through thick and thin.

A few days ago Okoth and his friends had a get-together and he told them how his wife supported him through his battle against cancer.

Guys, take care of your wives. You may have a lot of money for treatment but nothing equals a woman who stands by you in your moment of illness.' Ken said.
