Susan Wangui has come out boldly to speak to the media about her son who was beaten by mob for stealing a phone.

Susan says he has spoken to his 19 year old son Derrick Ndungu about this.

"I have educated this child and after form four, I enrolled him in a driving school. I told him that I will put up a business for him and he refused"

"There is a time he was brought to me after he stole From someone and I called the police on him and he was jailed for three months and his aunts and uncles asked me to get him out. I got him out with a half a million bond."

Adding that,

"He has refused to work because he doesn't want to work and I know he is a thief. It is not the first time. He snatches people's phones"

Wangui says her son was called by a person saved as 'Msoo' in his contacts and told her that he had received a call from 'Msupa'.

"He got out and said he has been called by a woman."

That was the last time she saw her son alive.

She went on to say that young people should stop robbery.

If you dont work with your hands, you will die.
