Gospel singer Bahati is one of the youngest artistes in the Kenyan music industry and is known for his emotional and inspirational songs.

Bahati, real name, Kevin Kioko has gone through the toughest time of his life when he was young after his mother passed away, leaving him to fend for himself. To survive he sought shelter at a children's home in Mathare.

Years down the line and Bahati has become one of the most sought after and celebrated gospel singers in Kenya, using his talent to make it in this cruel world, especially when you're an orphan.

Bahati is one of the most loved artistes until recently when he received backlash from fans for releasing music that does not convey a Christian message or sound like genuine gospel songs, like; In Love, Mapenzi, Lover and his latest hit Maria, featuring Bongo actress Jokate Mwegelo.

The Mama hitmaker took to his social media to apologize to his fans for not giving them good music, after deleting his Instagram photos a few days before, revealing that the last gospel song he had done was Barua.

He then went on to release a new song with celebrated gospel singer Jemima Thiong'o. Typical of Bahati aye?

Well, away from music, Bahati rarely talks about his love life or whether he has a special woman in his life because he prefers keeping his private life off the public radar.

In fact, he talks about finding a woman who will love him and his adopted children, with many of his female fans offering to take up that role, with others even stalking him just to get his attention.

But Bahati seems to be taken, by one very beautiful lass. The soft-spoken lad celebrated his birthday on the 22nd of December 2016, with close friends and the stunning lady who goes by the name, Diana.

To thank his fans for their sweet birthday wishes, he shared a photo with the lady, wearing matching dashiki attires, looking cozy and happy. It looks like the girl treated Bahati to a fantastic birthday surprise as he thanked her in the post too;

In one of the pictures, Bahati leaves a sweet comment, thanking his pretty girl for the birthday surprise and arrangements; "I really appreciate the love ❤️The best I've ever had".
