Barely a month after suspected gunmen attacked and robbed popular rapper Calvo Mistari at gunpoint, and made away with his phone and other valuables, the long arm of the law has caught up with one of them.

This incident left Calvo Mistari shaken, forcing him to go into hiding claiming that his life was in danger. Several days later, the 'thieves' allegedly called him begging the talented rapper to give them back their guns, but he didn't.

Calvo Mistari is said to have taken the guns to the police and after investigation, they seem to have found the owner of the firearm. Embu County clerk Jim Kauma was yesterday questioned over ownership of the gun and asked to record a statement at the Lang'ata police. He was also summoned by the CID.

Frank Matuta (Kauma's brother-in-law and the main suspect) told the police that the guns belonged to the clerk, who has denied the allegations saying he doesn't own a gun. This incident happened in Nairobi's Madaraka Estate.
