A typical evening in Nairobi can be so boring, especially for introverts like me. For this particular Tuesday (27th Jan) I decided to leave the office earlier than usual and drop by Caramel Restaurant and Lounge. A week earlier, a friend of me told me that since I had missed her invitation for dinner at the classic restaurant, It would take me another five years before getting time to go there. I'll explain later. Just keep reading.

The popular joint is at the newly refurbished ABC Place, 10 minutes drive from the office. In my mind I was already envisioning the lovely people I would be meeting. The food and drinks awaiting. To give you a spoiler, I'll let you know that I wasn't too ambitious. The hospitality Caramel upholds lived up to my expectations.

After a sweet Raspberry Coulis dessert, it was my time to go home. I left satisfied and wanting to go back.
