For quite some time, Vera Sidika was the only socialite with a legit business. The others just spoke of clothing lines and imported clothes but Vera Sidika went the whole nine yards.

She put up a lavish hair lounge in a beautiful business complex, went all out on advertisements and her business was running. Not anymore. 

We received an anonymous tip that Vera Sidika was moving things from her shop along with photos that proved the same. We couldn't believe that such a tasty morsel of gossip had fallen on our laps! Not wanting to look a gift horse in the mouth but still wanting to be thorough, the Mpasho team did our due diligence, we went out to where her shop was supposed to be. According to her Instagram:

But on the site:

East Wing, First Floor, Suite 18 was empty. There was nothing marking that there is a business inside. No poster, no nothing. Our efforts to talk to anyone at the complex proved futile. So were our efforts to talk to Vera Sidika.

Whether Vera Sidika has closed shop or simply moved is yet to be ascertained. Our anonymous tipper informed us that Vera Sidika couldn't keep up with the stiff competition from established hair centers. A few weeks ago, Vera's lounge had a 20% discount. We wonder if that was meant to clear stock. Speculations are rife as to what may have caused the shop to close down. Has the sponsor cut off financial supply? Has she gone broke?
