Kenyan artists are an angry lot. Ever since the rumour about Diamond getting paid 1.5 million to perform at the MCSK Awards creeped up, they have taken to social media to protest and express disgust. What I wonder though is whether or not they read this piece:

I doubt it. But whatever the case, gospel artist Ringtone has led the rest of his peers in a protest march against MCSK hierarchy for what he perceives as the maltreatment of Kenyan artists who were to be paid 50,000 for their performances while Diamond was falsely rumoured to be expecting 1.5 million.
